It's been a lovely summer's day here today. I walked to the shops and a guy on a bike said hello - I think it was the milkman, Jose, but I didn't recognise him without his milk cart 😁.
Anyway, the usual thing, I forgot to take my phone or it wasn't charged, something like that, so I'm showing a very low total for today, but it was probably around 5,000 steps. I usually do that in a day, with walking backwards and forwards watering the garden and then a wander to the shops or the Garden.
Yesterday was a good day, too, although then I forgot to post 😂. It doesn't matter too much - the important thing is I did the steps.
5145 steps
Most of those were wandering around the General Hospital. I parked at the far end and walked the entire length of the hospital grounds to get to the building I wanted. After my appointment, I walked all the way back, stopping off at the restaurant for some breakfast at £4.35 - it was a good deal!
I was at the hospital for an assessment - first time my height had been measured for decades and I was shocked to discover I had lost an inch! I checked when I got home and that is quite normal as you age, you lose roughly a centimetre each decade.
I had an ECG, too, checking heart activity, which was "textbook perfect", no w's or m's indicating an issue with your right or left ventricle (or vice versa). I was pleased with that, everything is heading in the right direction.
Okay, time for a little Pilates 😍.
