Daffodils spreading across the field.
Yellow against the fresh green.
The grass is growing again.
You can see it day by day now.
The sun is standing higher.
Its warmth finally returning.
Not strong yet but noticeable.
Enough to feel it on the skin.
But the wind still tells a different story.
Cold. Restless.
Today there was a lot of it.
So it felt like two seasons at once.
Spring in the light.
Winter in the wind.
