If only my nose was as good as my dogs. It was garbage day and my dog smelled the top bag in this recycle bin.
What was the empty bag? Dog food. Now my dog gets fed AFTER his morning and evening walk so I have a hungry dog walking home and (sniff sniff) dog is thinknig breakfast in a blue bin.
silly dog
Anyways today's (well yesterday's) exercise.
Dog walk in the morning and evening.
Which means 4.6km there.
I also did a cubieverse run around the park which means this:
Another 4.5km which means 9km walking. Add on a trip to the gym for leg day and that's a fair number of steps. However, I also noted where I finally finished my Cubieverse walk for the day and it was at this point in my hunt.
Which means to finish my Cubieverse walking goals took over 11km worth of walking.
I must be a crazy person walking 11km a day and answering silly questions like this:
Or slightly harder questions like this
However, even more foolish than walking and exercising I decided to work on tidying the house and making an unused room in the downstairs into my computer / Hive writing room. At the end of few hours of rearranging and moving furniture around I now have a nice place to sit and post (or take a nap if needed).
No pictures of that room yet because its still not quite ready.
I did move an end table? Out of the room into the front foyer. I would bring it upstairs but it was too heavy for just me
Now it had to go where the shoe rack normally is. My wife keeps way too many shoes and my son doesn't help so...
.....
That is part of the shoes
That's some more of the shoes.
That's most of the rest of the shoes. I say most because there are still more shoes hiding around the house but finding all their hiding places would take forever...my wife is good at finding finding hiding places :)
Unfortunately my wife doesn't like change.
She came home to see all those shoes and she was so mad that I made a change in the house that she couldn't think straight. She started getting angry and saying things but she was so mad she kept stopping in mid sentence unable to find the right words.
that was a good time to take the dog for his evening walk
When I returned she had calmed down a bit. By the end of the day she noted the work I did downstairs and commended my work on the guest bedroom / posting space. She also calmed down enough for me to explain I was moving it to a different spot once I had help (as I said, it was too heavy for just me).
Note to husbands.
There is a time to talk to your wife, a time to listen to your wife, and a time to run away to let her cool down. Learning the difference is a good tool to stay married :D
Anyways, that's my post for the day.
Thanks for dropping by.
Until tomorrow
