Today was a long day.
We started off the day with our son and headed to church. Quite a nice service actually (learned about the church in Smyrna).
After church it was time to head out hiking. We did a 90min hike to a place called Teapot hill. It moderately challenging because it was mostly uphill to get to the top of the hill.
I was with my wife which was good. We also took some friends along with but they didn't hike much so they were complaining a fair amount about how much work it was.
If you like there are many teapots to be spotted along the way. Mostly I was there because my wife gets grumpy if she doesn't go hiking and she likes company :)
Get to the top and you get a beautiful view of the area around plus a nice little breather. We had some juice and chips to celebrate although mostly we waited until we reached the bottom again and the lake front until we had a little picnic.
Going home sucked because there was bad traffic and a 30min drive took well over an hour. By the end of that I was pretty sleepy so I had a nap at home.
Woke up, took the dog for a walk and then it was time to figure out what to do for the evening. I wanted to see the Wolverine/Deadpool movie and my wife and kids decided to tag along. We headed there are 930pm and didn't get back until after midnight.
Overall a great day but it certainly was a very long one.
The 24K steps or so certainly show that.
So, until tomorrow
thanks for dropping by.
