As you might know I'm visiting my mom... And her cat Willie... This week. The town she lives in is pretty tiny with only 3500 people or so
There aren't really that many places to walk and exercise here. However I still try to get my steps.
The day started off with a trip to the plumbing store to ask about a huge bill my mom has for installation of an instant hot water heater. The heater is useful but it looks like 2% interest monthly which adds up quickly.
Then it was off to the post office to collect her mail. Returned home and did some banking. Then it was time to return to the plumbing store to pay a portion of the bill and the pay office to get a package my mom had delivered.
Returned home.
Then it was time to call the financial advisor to cash out some investments. Now normally I hate cashing out investments but to pay off a high interest credit card bill it makes perfect sense and the investments are highly unlikely to ever match the 24% paid to the credit card company.
Willie of course didn't care. He just wanted to chill and get fed.
Hahaha
Anyways my mom had errands around the house and some things that needed to be done in town so I scurried about doing that but honestly it was a really light day.
In the evening I went to my sister's house for lasagna and a visit.
Too many dogs and cats. One dog that loves to nip people which is annoying. But I got to visit my sister and nephew so overall that made it fun.
Also had to check out the theater..
Super Mario Galaxy was playing. Normally I wouldn't be too interested but when I saw that Jack black was in it along with and Anna Taylor-Joy I thought hmmm... Maybe.
But overall I was happy just to get my steps, see my family and get some bills paid off.
And that's my report for the day.
