Well the jet lag is still a bummer. I can get to sleep ok but waking up at 330am isn't much fun. Still.. I make due. I read some hive articles and make my own. I doom scroll through news feeds and try to figure out where to go on hive and investments.
Then I get up and start my day. Have breakfast and chat with my mom. My mom invariably had tasks for me to do which are very minor but very time consuming for her. That means I take forever to get her list done
However early afternoon after her chores are done and I've completed a huge learners post it's time to go for a walk around town.
I start by walking towards the war Memorial park. It's a nice little place with more trees than the rest of town. As I have nowhere in particular to go I head towards my sister's place and marvel at how much damage the winner has done to the sidewalk.
Thinking how much is this going to cost to fix? And will they bother fixing it since it will just break next winter.
I arrive at my sister's house and think about saying hello... But she is busy visiting with her daughter who made a trip to see her so I keep on walking.
Eventually I walk by the Baptist Church in town. Kind it glad I found it as I wanted to go there for the Easter service on Sunday but actually didn't know where it was.
And I keep on walking but this time what's my nephew's house.
Kind of amazing that he had a house because not that long ago he was unemployed with no credit and no drive. Now he has a wife. Dogs. Two cars, job. And a house.
This house to be precise.
And the car? He purchased it from my son who loved anime. Why do I mention that? Because I had to take a picture of the sticker my son put in the car and it never got taken off.
I kept on walking by the bottle Depot, the pretty food store and a few more places and was surprised to find out the CO OP market was open.
I stopped it and grabbed a sandwich.
And for .. yes it is Canadian sized :)
Anyways after that I went back to my mom, made an article in hive, and chatted for a few hours.
Barely made 5k steps as I was mostly in the house... But I did get them today... Unlike yesterday where it was only 2 k steps. Ugh
Thanks for dropping by
