A visit to the family home place today, and that of course means lots of garden maintenance, which means lots of steps.
Then this evening we went for a walk in the woods. This area of woodland is apparently several thousand years old. Situated on the shore of Lough Ree, let me tell you, it’s delightfully peaceful.
St Johns Wood, Lecarrow, county Roscommon, Ireland.
In recent years, paths have been put in place and the woods are managed and coppiced, and the woods have been made more accessible to the general public, with lots of little educational aspects.
This evening was a quick walk, so next time I’ll take more photo and document it for another post.
