#IAmAliveChallenge - Day 3
I thought I might go on a hike this morning. But it was drizzling when I woke up so decided on a bike ride. I was excited to try my new front tire I replaced yesterday. I was on the road by about 5:15am. It was beautifully cool, I didn't mind the soft rain a bit.
I road along the river. Some food shops along the road had just started to open. I try to keep a moderate pace. I bike 9.6km in 33 minutes. Arriving home, I'm excited to get online and play some Splinterlands, but I stay disciplined and meditated for 20 minutes and wrote down some of my goals for the day. I did get a few Splinterlands battles in as well before everyone woke up.
I drive my daughter to her to her Summer day camp. There is a lot of traffic as usual during rush hour. We listen to music and sing songs to pass the time. After dropping her off, I get a quick bite to eat and head to the office. I'm sitting most of the day, but I do take a break for 10 minutes of yoga. Tomorrow my goal is to extend Yoga to 20 minutes.
In the evening I get a good amount of walking in. M wants to play at a friends house, so I walk her over there. Then I walk again to pick her up, but she's not ready, so I walk home and back again in an hour. A good way to 10,000 steps.
There are some personal things that are causing me some stress; focusing on daily physical activity is helpful. I am better able to deal with the challenges at hand. Tomorrow my goal is to increase my meditation time from 20 minutes to half hour. I also want to make sure to read a book for at least 20-30 minutes per day.
