In this post, I share my Actifit report card and a few pictures I took on Friday. I took the first two pictures around sunrise and the one at sunset. These two periods are my favorite times of the day.
On Fridays, my daughter's school finishes midafternoon. We go to get something to eat, and then I take her to her guitar lesson. We get home as the sun is setting. I take the picture below and look at my Activity counter, which is only at about 6,500 steps. My daughter understands I need to hit 10,000 steps before we can relax for the evening. She grabs her skateboard, and we head out for a walk. But it was a long day, we were tired, and we headed home after not too long. I think I'm close to 9,500 at that point. I feel sure I'll get the last 500 steps just getting ready for bed. But as I fall asleep, I forget to check to make sure. A mistake I've made many times.
When I started writing the above paragraph, I'd assumed I'd hit 10,000 steps for Friday. But I just checked my step count for Friday and hit 9,951 steps. 49 steps short of reaching my goal of breaking my record streak of 11 days. My goal was to hit 10,000 steps every day for fourteen days in a row. I was close to accomplishing this goal.
Well, I'm going to try again. My goal is to hit 10,000 steps per day for 14 days in a row. Saturday will be day one.
Through working towards and reporting on my daily activity goals, I am #AliveAndThriving. I hope your day is full of positive experiences, and look forward to reporting on tomorrow's adventures in being alive!
Peace, thoth442
