Heck of a busy day at work, however I managed to get in some walking around downtown Northfield, and chase a few Pokemon. Glad to have that as anctivity choice. Heh.
Northfield is getting ready for the annual celebration of The Defeat of Jesse James. This is a big deal here as the James-Younger gang rode into town to rob the bank, and got shot to pieces. The photo above is the unloading of the information booth for the event. It is the biggest all volunteer event in Minnesota. Not the best picture, however I will have more as the event unfolds over the rest of this week.
I checked out a Pokemon Go route, a recently added feature, in downtown Northfield. This route is approximately 1.5km, and goes through Bridge Square (lots of Poke stops) and round downtown. A nice little walk, however it crosses the street in odd places, like the middle of the block, which can be problematic this week once Defeat Jesse James Days gets going.
That’s it for now. thanks for stopping by.
