Saluk is a type of vegetable food that grows in the middle part of the Shapla flower. Multiple buds are born at the base of the Shapla plant, which gradually grow into Saluk. It helps to increase digestion, provide energy to the body and quickly suppress hunger. Saluk is also useful in treating blood dysentery and itching. It is a cooling, bile soothing and heart-strengthening food, which also acts as a thirst quencher.
