An Iranian nuclear facility hidden in the mountains is now at the center of the entire conflict. This facility, built 360 feet below ground, is called the Fordow Fuel Plant. Advanced centrifuge technology is being used here, and it is believed that it has a stockpile of highly enriched uranium. According to several Western 'neutral' organizations, it is possible to produce at least nine nuclear weapons by upgrading the uranium here to weapons-grade level within three weeks.
Israel is desperate to destroy this facility. But due to its location, it is not so easy. Only one weapon can destroy it, the US-made GBU-57/B bomb, which weighs 30 thousand pounds and is 20 feet long. And it cannot be carried by any ordinary aircraft, the only aircraft capable of carrying it is the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, which no one except America has.
Israel is desperate to get America involved in this conflict mainly because of the use of this bomb. However, the task will not be so easy for America either. Experts say that the depth and defenses of Fordow are so complex that a single bomb is not enough. Multiple bombs may have to be dropped on the same target, and each hit must be extremely precise.
