Oh, what a day this has been. Up and out pretty early again. Sunny and relatively warm.
We walked one of our usual routes, but decided to walk around the field by the middle school so the dog could run a little bit off leash.
He did really well... until he spotted a bunny... he took off like a rocket after that poor bunny. Thank goodness he didn’t catch it... and he came straight back to us when he realized he had lost...
By the high school we decided to walk the trail, and we got pretty close to these two beauties.
It appears that my favorite weed attracts bees... lots of bees.
Got home in time and with enough steps to score an #AutomaticWin
Had my breakfast cereal, and thought that the milk wasn’t quite as cold as it should be, but didn’t really think any more about it... until a little later when I was looking for something in the freezer and realized it was starting to thaw out... the dang thing had stopped working. My boss was nice and let me leave an hour early and a friend with a truck and flatbed trailer met us at Home Depot so we could get a new refrigerator. But no... with the COVID and all that it wasn’t just THAT easy. They had none in stock and to order we would get one in 3 weeks. The lady said it is pretty much the same all over since production have been halted for months. They had one small one in box on the floor that we could buy. A small retro style, red refrigerator... not exactly what we were looking for, but we needed one NOW.
It’ll have to do for now, and it buys us some more time to find one we want. This one will end up in the basement or garage as an additional fridge, although I think it’s too cool to put in the garage. We definitely need a bigger one in the kitchen though.
