There are days I wake up and feel like a drag to go for a workout but for challenges like this, I get up and move.
Who doesn’t like a good challenge?
I challenged myself today to a jog on the stairs. I also learnt from the person behind the camera (a footballer who sprinted on the stairs 70times with a few breaks though) that speed also matters for an athlete.
I consoled myself that I was not an athlete just a lady who loves fitness (looking good and feeling good) I love the beauty in the walk of confidence as well as taking care of the gift given to me ‘my body’ properly.
Here is a video of me jogging on the stairs at a bit faster pace- baby steps please🙏🏽🥹
I will improve on my pace in good time
If you stay long enough around people that don’t believe in you and say so every opportunity they get then you begin to create in your head a naysayer who doubts your capabilities over and over again.
For me the one in your head is most dangerous because you believe yourself more than you do others.
To root out that naysayer in you, a challenge or a self dare to prove it wrong will suffice.
The many times you are able to prove that voice wrong will be the many times you shot it up till it is totally silenced.
Here is the pink shirt that fits after a month’s workout
I am alive and thriving. Hope you are too?
