Caught in action! It’s tricky to set off a timer and catch yourself in full stride but I was up for the challenge and it ended up being a good cardio session!
Over all I took just over 70 photos but only ended up with maybe 10 worth while shots in the space of 1.5 hours. Whew 😅
For those wondering, I’m using a Nikon D3100 for these photos. Set in action mode with a 10 second timer.
I’m still learning how to use this camera and I’m still figuring out the specifics of the lens and settings. I guess I’ll spend some time figuring that out next.
It took some getting used to as I have only recently began using this camera. There’s some skill involved. It’s not like the point and shoot with my cell phone camera but I love the quality of the photo and the challenge is fun as well!
I’ll share more photos once I decide which ones I want to keep and which ones I’m going to discard.
So how did your day go? What are the highlights to your day? You know... the things that happened that differentiate this day from the last one and the one before that!
I think that’s one of the things I like about photography... it’s all about capturing meaningful memories.
These @Actifit reports have also become a journal of my/our life/lives haven't they? If you add to that some nice photos and you got something...
As I mentioned a couple reports ago... one of my hopes for these entries is that they become artifacts that my daughters (and other's like you wonderful people) can read... long into the future!
Writing these reports and taking the photos, for me, is all about how I can add meaning and inspiration to my activities and meaning and inspiration to my life... and if I can, in some small way, add help you add meaning and inspiration to your activities and lives... Well! That would make all of this effort worth wile for me!
There's also something really good about pausing for introspection and expression isn't there? I think that's always a good thing!
Thank you all for reading!
I’ll see you all tomorrow for the official #HighFive post! 🙌
I have been looking forward to writing this one and I hope you all are excited to read it! I think this is the continuation of something really good. Especially during this global pandemic crisis. Anything that strengthens community is a good thing.
Let’s keep stepping with @Actifit and spreading the positive vibes on the Hive Blockchain you all!
