Woke up so early for a casual hike in one of the famous mountains in South Korea. We hired a van and the van was so amazingly luxurious! We all felt like we’re celebrities. We’re no K stars though.
The rest stop at 8am was so cold. It seems like there’s zero visibility in this area.
A hot drink was a must and I found it at Dunkin Donuts. I ordered citron chamomile tea because it’s chamomile but it seems like it’s all citron.
I also bought a munchkins’ box which I ate during the van ride to the mountain. It was so good! I miss Dunkin Donuts from my hometown. Korea doesn’t have choco butternut flavored donuts and munchkins which I love but their choco hit the spot. Taste like home!
I saw some friends having a hot fish cake for breakfast so I got them too. The power of peer pressure. 😅 It was surprisingly good! It was so perfect for the cold weather.
We stayed at the rest stop for 30 minutes, and then off we go. Our driver at this point was still so shy but after the trip, he seems to like everyone of us and we treated him like an elder brother. He was so close with 
The view at the countryside was so beautiful! We were all saying the Korean word for beautiful at the van and the driver was enjoying with us. 😅 I guess Autumn’s here at the countryside. Maybe not yet in some areas of SoKor.
The plan was to have only one rest stop going there but some of us wanted to go to the nearest toilet. Our driver was too kind to stopover at a convenience store which turned out to be a nice place for viewing.
It wasn’t planned at all! And we’re glad we didn’t pay any additional charges for stopping here! It’s like a viewing point in In Je county if I’m not mistaken. This was a bungee jumping point. I don’t know if this works though.
I super love the view! Unplanned and we didn’t know where we were!
I didn’t have time to read the history about this place because we’re pressed at time.
Aaahhh, I really think there’s more to see in this place! It was such a good stopover! Thanks to our driver!
