Ran around doing errands and still managed to get my walking in even though we had rain and drizzles all day today. And the rain made my tree path all the more peaceful with only a couple people around.
I didn't see ape lady either. She's a funny elderly lady, must be in her 80's, I see on the path. Our first encounter I'll never forget. When I first started walking this Japanese cherry tree-lined path, I was engaged in the encompassing green canopy and couldn't help but think of jungles and apes and human evolution, and how we developed and came out of the trees onto terra firma. Just then I came upon this old gal hanging from a tree branch swinging around! I wasn't sure if she was dropping into humanity or trying to climb back in the trees! Apparently she was having a great shoulder stretch.
