Multiple strolls again today, but in the morning I went off the rails and into the hillside forests and chose a small almost hidden way up into the mysterious unknown.
🌲 🌲🌲 And after working my way up into mixed bamboo and trees for some time , I ran across this hidden 💎 gem of a shrine, without a soul in sight, it was only me the whole way. What an amazing feeling, like in a dream.
It had seen better days, very worn down, even the stone lions keeping guard at the entrance.
I have stumbled across various temples, shrines, stone figures and what not numerous times here in Japan, as they’re strewn all over the place in the darnedest places, but it never ceases to amaze me.
Take a different way, hope you stumble across something or someone that makes your day!
