⛰⛰⛰ Foothills of the Tanzawa Mountain Range ⛰⛰⛰
How’s your weekend going, fine peeps?
Took another path less traveled today. It was drippy but only had to take cover a couple times. Enjoyed the varied terrain, wide open river plains with the sound of the river, and narrow dirt paths with the fresh Spring greenery along the way.
The Tanzawa range is where Mt. Fuji officially calls home, being the farthest down the line. I can see the top of Fuji where I stay, but I’m at the foot of Mt. Oyama, the second highest mountain in the chain, the top of which is obscured by clouds in the photo.
I met a distraught looking young lady walking forlornly along the trail alone. I asked if she was ok, we chatted for a bit, turns out she had boyfriend troubles, surprise surprise. I tried to cheer her up a little, with some pithy banter and she seemed to appreciate the effort. 😅
Enjoy your day,
Bliss!
