Here is the collection of seeds we have amassed for this year. Many of the things we will be planting this year go straight in the ground but we will try starting some veggies and herbs indoors.
I love snapping as bleak a before picture as possible so that the after picture when I am done is that much better.
This one shows that the tramolopoline was of the highest priority this year and all I have done is spread some low sunlight fescue and topsoil.
The strawberries have already started to grow and while the pepper box is nothing more than a rabbit hangout this early.
I like to reuse the trays and planting supplies from previous years as much as possible. These ones are rather flimsy and a few of them will have to hit the recycling box but we have plenty.
Strange that these consumer goods were actually made in this country.
This is tray number 1 which is made up predominantly of peppers from chilies, to jalapeños to cayenne to mystery varieties whose labels have worn off.
Tray 2 has a selection of tomatoes. A couple other planters with basil, thyme, dill and chives. Maybe this the year my chives will grow?
As the sun goes down at the end of the road, so to does this sublime Sunday end. I have ordering and moving and building and planting and clearing to do in the coming weeks. Can’t wait for the after picture to be shot.
Time for a beer and some Dungeons & Dragons with the nerds!!
Happy sublime Sunday y’all.
