Like this time last week, I woke up to a fresh blanket of snow on the ground on paper delivery day.
I don’t remember winter setting in this early in recent years but we are getting waves of snow and it is currently headed toward -14c. This nice old house has a few cords of wood to keep the fireplace warm a couple months.
The sky did clear periodically but the sun didn’t carry much warmth.
Out in the west leg of my day, Mater is looking a little frigid in his field.
Back in town, it is looking a little like Christmas on Main Street.
No movie set fake snow in this christmassy scene. Like a hallmark card.
They are just setting up this year’s lights on feature in town square. I will take you down again when it is all done later this month.
Looking north from the steps of city hall, the steps are snow covered as they are blocked off for a little maintenance.
The last couple thousand steps were with the fuzzy guy out at the dog park after dark. The snow on the trees in the low light almost looks black & white.
