What a winter day! - single digits for the first time in what feels like a month. With temps not even close enough to melt snow, you know it is piling up and covering vehicles.
Speaking of which, I checked in on Muggsy’s car and it is still a snow bank. Too big a job apparently and he couldn’t be arsed to do it.
Back to the topic at hand! Thursdays are almost guaranteed 10k days which are my only chance to break into the top 250 all time users.
What the hell gets me out on the town for 10 k no matter the weather? My company is partnered with a media company who serves the community with an actual paper news paper with local stories written by local journalists. We help them by visiting 100 businesses to drop them off.
With the temperatures getting gradually warmer but the nights staying cold, I bet you are in for some gigantic icicles in the next couple weeks.
Some of the local tradespeople are making time to offer roof snow and ice removal services. This fine fella is helping a local church.
This guy has a roof shovel and is taking matters into his own hands.
I took a detour through the cemetery on the way back home to watch the Olympic hockey games!
Still plenty wintery out in the afternoon out at the museum. They have a whole pile of snow shoes to lend out for free to those who want to go walk the trails.
Downtown, the dood carving the snow in town square was back out. A 3/d maple leaf in the making.
I will leave you once again with the view from city hall steps looking into a wintery north. Flag is at half mast for a tragedy out west but spring will hopefully come soon.
