Thursdays for me are almost guaranteed to be 10k+ and only a few hours off a Wednesday walk. I wasn’t sure how this day would play out as an overnight ice storm threatened to screw with everyone’s plans.
The view at the crack of dawn this morning was pretty grey with not much evidence of the sun rising behind these clouds. Close to freezing and drizzle all morning are less than favourable conditions for 4 hours of walking and driving.
Many cars on my travels today had a healthy sheet of stippled ice on them. So thankful my car gets to sleep indoors.
Out in the country, Mater is starting to peek over the 8-foot snowbank obscuring his view of the highway. The last few days have peeked above freezing so the accumulation almost feels like it is melting.

Here is your weekly view from the steps of city hall looking north. Hard to imagine we will see flowers blooming here in a couple short months.
You know what Canadians do on an icy February day? Why go golfing of course! Indoor golfing in particular which is accessible to people of all ages.
Topping out at almost 14k steps has me enjoying my beer and thinking of bed.
Thanks for joining me on my wayward journey towards the top 250 users in all of history!
