This week starts with how it usually ends. Standing on the steps of city hall looking north. Traces of second winter on the ground and a cool breeze.
Last week, I capped 10k as well but never found the time to post. More snow then but higher temperatures.
Last week, Mater was still nestled in a snow blanket and peeking over a shrinking snowbank.
This week, the snow is almost gone and I am wondering what they will grow this season in that field.
Despite temperatures above freezing for the last week, it froze again last night and coated everything with white.
Just a couple weeks ago, there was definitely more white.
Last week at this time, the glacier hadn’t retreated from the dog park yet.
This week, it is more like a dog swamp and the little guy needs a bath after frolicking here.
You might be in a small town if you see this in the parking lot.
You can almost hear this beauty calling for summer.
The bad news might be that the garden is a frozen swamp. The good news is I have at least another month to procrastinate cleaning it up.
The sun has gone down on another 10k steps as I plod like a zombie towards the top 250 actifitters of all time!
Thanks for walking with me.
