Lace up them boots it is news day here up north and time for 10k steps about town. Only the most stubborn of trees are not fully clothed as we are finally enjoying a week of summery weather.
It is news day where I visit approx 70 local news drop off and pickup spots which is much more enjoyable now that winter is done! The drive between locations is nice too as this little town has its share of trees.
Mater definitely looks to be enjoying the season in his field and shiny new flags he is waving.
My cool car of the day is usually some exotic sports car which I find funny being in a small town. This time, I spotted a Bentley cruising regally now the nice weather is here.
I interrupted my regular route to join a few other business owners downtown in a coffee networking event. Small towns seem even smaller when you make personal connections with other leaders and builders.
Speaking of downtown, it is starting to liven up as theatre season has started. Something like 8 different plays going on this year (including The Hobbit!) which will bring well over a million visitors to town.
Standing on the steps of city hall looking north, I can taste the oncoming summer where delivery day might come with a little sweat and sunburn!
Back in my garden, the daffodils have popped to take the second shift after the tulips.
It wouldn’t be a proper 10k steps without a little trip to the park so the little guy can get his steps in.
For those keeping track, birdhouse tree in the park is almost fully clothed in leaves and providing some nice shade on the path.
Thank you for joining my on my busy day and path toward the top 200 users of all time!
