A New Original Song, "The Beach"

Today's post is for a new song that I recently wrote. I've been working on this song intermittently for more than a year now. I wrote the first verse after being inspired by sitting on a beach watching the waves a couple of years ago. The original version wasn't quite the same as what I have now, but that's how a song evolves over time as you work on it. The chorus just kind of came to me pretty easily, but the second verse took a long time. With several of the songs that I've written, I've set them aside several times and then worked on them again when the mood struck me. Also, I'm still not quite sure on the song title, for now it has a working title.

This video recording is just a demo of the song, a very basic version, just my voice and my baritone ukulele. When I record this for my soundcloud page, I'll be adding more to it, at least a bass guitar track and a harmony vocal.
