Today I want to tell you about a case in the history of the musical world that from any difficult situation there is a way out, there is salvation. My only comparison is that in our community there is a share of joint healing for any of us if we listen to Music. It is music that heals us from all diseases of both man and society. And it all works together. Music and the words of the song are like a prayer for the glory of our creativity and the request of the soul. All for the benefit of our recovery with positive emotions. Music works wonders. When a performer sings his song, he can bring a saving spark of light and warmth to the one who needs it most of all today. Further, I give a vivid example from life, when it was with the support of a huge number of people that the disease receded! Although not for long, but life lasted. And is it not a miracle, is it not salvation ?! Ask in any country in the world and any music connoisseur will tell you that he knows about whom, in fact, we are talking about ... So, let's continue, friends!
We all know well the Swedish singer, songwriter and lead singer of the pop-rock duo Roxette - Mari Fredriksson, who also contracted brain cancer in her time. Once, in just one day, she became a real star, breaking even the record of the famous group ABBA, having entered the top of the musical Olympus in the USA for a long time. And the Swedish duo became famous for many years, they were heard everywhere in every country. The concerts conducted by the duo gathered a huge number of spectators and fans in many countries. There are many years of fame, solo concerts, and the release of new music albums ahead. But all this instantly remained in the past, when trouble struck - Marie fell ill and, as always, the disease manifested itself unexpectedly. In early September 2002, she returned from a run in the morning and ... fainted. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor, an operation was performed, long treatment and rehabilitation - after which the disease gradually receded!.
With the support of lovers of her work, she continued her work - songs were written, she released an album. And in November 2004 the album became "gold" - more than 20 thousand copies of discs sold! And in October 2005 it was said that the singer had completely recovered! Here is a vivid example for all of us of how, with the support of many fans of Marie Fredriksson's creativity and fans, the disease can recede at the very beginning, and then, in general, become defeated. And what is more interesting - Marie began to draw a lot during her illness. She did so many works that after a while an exhibition was opened with her works (graphics). And then her graphics were repeatedly exhibited for public viewing, all exhibitions were a tremendous success! A book on graphics was also exclusively published - only 300 copies, which raised the bar high. Using this example, I want to show how a terrible disease was conquered, with the support of people who love and believe in salvation. Marie died on December 9, 2019 at the age of 62, but her work lives on
