( EN / DE ) It was time again for a random selection of the three tunes for ThreeTuneTuesday. And once again I found myself surprised that there are vinyls on my shelf that are definitely NOT mine. The only way I can explain it is that during the years these records had spent in Graz without me, one or the other had been "parked" there from the family.
War mal wieder an der Zeit für eine zufällige Auswahl der drei Tunes für den ThreeTuneTuesday. Und einmal mehr fand ich mich verwundert, dass da Vinyls in meinem Regal sind, die definitiv NICHT von mir sind. Ich kann mir das nur so erklären, dass während der Jahre, die diese Platten ohne mich in Graz verbracht hatten die eine oder andere von der Familie "dazugeparkt" wurde.
TTT1 - Herbie Hancock

Ich bin nicht der grösste Jazz Fan, zumindest muss es eine eher melodische Art von Jazz sein, damit sie mir gefällt. Trotzdem sagte mir der Name Herbie Hanckock irgendetwas, nur was, das fand ich erst heraus als ich diesen Song fand.

TTT2 - Rainhard Fendrich - Weusd a Herz has wia a Bergwerk
Again, I have no idea how this LP came to me. But there is a song on it that connects me with such a beautiful memory!
We had a big party for my ma's 60th birthday. Musician friends played live with their band. And my dad (who can sing very well but has never been on stage) rehearsed this song with the band and sang it in front of everyone.
It was a beautiful and moving moment for all of us.
Auch hier habe ich keine Ahnung, wie diese LP in meinen Besitz gekommen ist. Es befindet sich darauf aber ein Song, der mich mit einer so schönen Erinnerung verbindet!
Zum 60. Geburtstag meiner Ma hatten wir eine große Feier. Befreundete Musiker spielten live mit ihrer Band. Und mein Dad (der sehr gut singen kann, aber niemals auf einer Bühne stand) probte mit der Band diesen Song ein und sang ihn vor allen.
Es war ein wunderschöner und bewegender Moment für uns alle.

TTT3 - Staying Alive Soundrack
Oh yes, this LP is definitely mine and I have listened to it very very often, danced to it a lot. I'm a big fan of dance films. Flashdance, Footloose, Fame, I love them all.
Oh ja, diese LP gehört auf jeden Fall mir und ich habe sie sehr sehr oft gehört, viel dazu getanzt. Ich bin ein sehr großer Fan von Tanz Filmen. Flashdance, Footloose, Fame, ich liebe sie alle.
Almost everyone probably knows the song "Staying Alive", but I'm not so sure about "So close to the fire". To stay with the calm mood of the second tune, I have also chosen a love song that I personally find musically beautiful and that also evokes a nostalgic mood for me.
Den Song "Staying Alive" kennt wahrscheinlich fast jeder, bei "So close to the fire" bin ich mir da nicht mehr so sicher. Um jetzt eher bei der ruhigen Stimmung des zweiten Tunes zu bleiben habe ich ebenfalls einen Liebessong ausgewählt, den ich persönlich auch musikalisch wunderschön finde und der für mich auch eine nostalgische Stimmung hervorruft.
