Greetings fellow musical Hivers 🤘
Hello everyone 👋 I won't be long this day as I've falling sick since Monday and I'm feeling like shit. Can't remember the last time I was ill like this and I've been having really strong headaches in the past days, making me stay in the dark and quiet most of the time.
To boost, as my symptoms are strongly suggestive of a respiratory virus I have to stay in isolation for the next 7 days and I'm currently waiting for the results of a COVID-19 PCR test.
Nevertheless, I'm thankful that I'm safe and comfortable in my home, receiving love and care from my partner and my 2 kitties. As my symptoms are now manageable with medication and my headaches are calmer, I'll take advantage of this small window of opportunity to share some tunes with you all 😌 (note to self - also you're bored 'AF' , and can't really stay still for long)
Three Tune Tuesday 🎸
For those of you who don't know, Three Tune Tuesday was created by and as he explains 👇
The jist is as follows

You'll also be in with a chance of winning a prize.
The recent world events, especifically the war that bursted between Russia and Ukraine, made me go on a spiral of anxiety, impotency, guilt and worrying. The recent talks about nuclear weapons does not make it better.
I can't even imagine what Ukrainian people are going through and my heart is with everyone of them as well as everyone that is against this war, including brave Russian people that are protesting in their country against these atrocities.
With that being said, today I'll go with a theme of Disney songs as I feel we all need a little bit of that children magic, that innocence, all the possibilities the world as to offer, the new and constant discoveries and foremost the ability to love and forgive in one of its most purest forms.
My 3 song recommendation 😎
1 - God Help The Outcasts - The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is probably one of my favourite Disney movies from my childhood. It's very hard for me to pick a favourite, I'm a big fan of Disney movies and even more for the songs! I have this movie on a VHS tape in my hometown and I've probably seen this more than a hundred times.
I'm sorry for bringing the energy a little bit down dear reader, but I believe this is the perfect song for the occasion. In the movie, the gispy community is being hunted down by the authorities and militaries and in this song Esmeralda is praying for help, ence the name of the song God help the outcasts.
Of course I know this song in it's portuguese version, given voice by an amazing singer named Sara Tavares (note to self - uhh uuh! you have to show her talent on #ttt soon!)
2 - Under the Sea - The Little Mermaid
Ohh The Little Mermaid is also one I watched countless times over my childhood. This song particularly made me dream about the sea and I wanted so badly to be a mermaid at the time and just swim endlessly. At the time I didn't understood Ariel's need to meet the world above water and I highly agreed with Sebastian.
A little fun fact about me, as I growed up in the interior side of my country, I only saw the ocean for the first time when I was about 9/10 years old and it's a very vivid, beautiful memory in my mind. Even nowadays, when I go to the beach I'm always amazed by the vastness of the sea (note to self - and afraid! You're not the best swimmer and you kinda panic when you have no foot).
3 - The Gospel Truth - Hercules
Also one movie I probably saw more than a hundred times! I imagine this must sound like a big exaggeration to you dear reader, but it's real. I also have this movie on a VHS tape in my hometown 😊
I end with this song because the world right now needs heroes and thankfully, yet sadly, I've seen plenty of heroic demonstrations from Ukrainian people. I say sadly because if there were peace we wouldn't need heroes, and heroes wouldn't lose their lives in order to save others.
Final considerations 🙌
That's it from me for week 40 of Three Tune Tuesday. I hope you liked it even though I wasn't in my usual writing register.
For me it felt good to just express my heart a little bit regarding everything that's been going on and I thank you, dear reader, for taking the time to read it till the end 🙏 .
