Audio Bar 046: "Kinky feat. Carla Morrison, Los Amigos Invisibles, Zoé, Thom Yorke" [EN / ES]

This combination is truly atypical, and one that honestly would not have occurred to me, despite being an acoustic version for a song with strong elements of electronic music. Carla Morrison interprets music with a totally different character than what Kinky does.

However, to my surprise, the song sounds very good, and the voices of Carla and Gil Cerezo, the lead singer of Kinky, sound very good together and achieve an excellent version of this classic by the Mexican band. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Esta combinación es verdaderamente atípica, y una que sinceramente no se me hubiera ocurrido, a pesar de tratarse de una versión acústica para un tema con fuertes elementos de música electrónica. Carla Morrison interpreta una música con un carácter totalmente diferente a la que interpreta Kinky.

Sin embargo, para mi sorpresa, la canción se escucha muy bien, y las voces de Carla y Gil Cerezo, el vocalista de Kinky, suenan muy bien juntas y logran una excelente versión de este clásico de la banda mexicana. Dénle una oportunidad, no se van a arrepentir.

Few musical proposals in Spanish are as fun and sensual as Los Amigos Invisibles. The Venezuelan band, discovered and presented to the world by David Byrne, is a guarantee of joy, Latin rhythms and eroticism in practically all their songs, but handled in a way that always makes you smile.

I had never heard them perform totally acoustic versions of their songs, and although they lose some of their funk touch, they gain in the richness of percussion and Latin sounds. The songs sound closer, a little less festive, but as fun and sensual as ever.

Pocas propuestas musicales en español son tan divertidas y sensuales como la Los Amigos Invisibles. La banda venezolana, descubierta y presentada al mundo por David Byrne, es garantía de alegría, ritmos latinos y erotismo en prácticamente todas sus canciones, pero manejado de una manera en que siempre te hace sonreír.

Nunca los había escuchado intepretando versiones totalmente acústicas de sus canciones, y si bien estas pierden parte de su toque funk, ganan en la riqueza de percusiones y sonidos latinos. Las canciones suenas más cercanas, un tanto menos festivas, pero tan divertidas y sensuales como siempre.

Zoé is quite simply one of the most important Mexican rock bands in history, and if you ask anyone related to the Spanish music industry, what is the best unplugged ever made? everyone will answer that Zoé's.

This song, in which its vocalist, León Larregui, sings in a duet with Denise Gutiérrez, vocalist of the Mexican band Hello Seahorse!, and one of the best voices in Mexico, is proof. This is one of those songs that makes your skin crawl, and that cannot be faked.

Zoé es sencillamente una de las bandas de rock mexicano más importantes de la historia, y si le preguntas a cualquiera relacionado con la industria de la música en español, ¿cuál es el mejor unplugged que se ha hecho? todos contestarán que el de Zoé.

Este tema, en que su vocalista, León Larregui, canta a dúo con Denise Gutiérrez, vocalista de la banda mexicana, Hello Seahorse!, y una de las mejores voces de México, es una prueba. Este uno de esos temas que te eriza la piel, y eso no se puede fingir.

Thom Yorke has long since ceased to be just the lead singer of Radiohead, and like the rest of his bandmates, he has built a solo career alongside Radiohead.

However, beyond his multiple projects, it is relatively common to see videos of him interpreting alternative versions of his songs. This is one of those cases, the song is Bloom, and suffice it to say that I like it much more than the original version.

Thom Yorke hace tiempo que dejó de ser solo el vocalista de Radiohead, y al igual que el resto de su compañeros, se ha hecho de una carrera en solitario a la par de Radiohead.

Sin embargo más allá de sus múltiples proyectos, es relativamente común ver videos suyos interpretando versiones alternativas de sus canciones. Este es uno de esos casos, la canción es Bloom, y baste decir que me gusta mucho más que la versión original.
