....and its from the same old song ive been riffin from. Good ol "Fade to Black" by Metallica. This is just my cover, on my Ibanez Electric guitar, with modified pickups and a Schecter Amp. Thanks to #ecency and #threespeak because otherwise im not sure id be able to upload my videos into my posts.
Theres plenty ways to figure things out, i can always just use my youtube i suppose, but i like being able to do it this way.
Even though, im not quite feeling 100% due to a Cold Virus, i still wanted to jam and get a post going. I did a couple runs to practice today, but im forever rusty, due to practicing enough past 10 years. Its cool though, because i feel like i still got it, but its hard to not make mistakes. Surely with discipline and practice it would be easier and smoother.
Anyways though, time to get this video up. For anyone who has trouble getting these videos to work, you just have to click the play button a couple times. I dance around the play button actually, that seems to get it to work. So give it a couple clicks, its under a minute long.
Fade to Black Solo
This was actually one of the first solos i learned almost note for note. The whole song actually. Its not easy, but in the grandscheme of things, with practice, i did eventually pick it up quite well. It has a lot of Pentatonic scale in it. Blues style of riff and solo. Its Kirk Hammett from Metallica, he is known to be influenced by famous blues artists from the 80s.
So give that play button a couple clicks, move your finger around a bit and it should work.
I already put my guitar away, im coughing and my body hurts a bit....but i should be fine.
Interesting times, lets band together and rock this place during these hard times for our ecosystem.
