Greetings to everyone in the Music community! After some time away from the community, I'm back here to continue bringing you some new covers, which, as always, are made with a lot of love, effort, and dedication. I reiterate that I'm not a professional singer, but rather a music enthusiast and lover, trying to give my best. That said, today I'm joining you here with a song by American artist Pink, titled "Don't Leave Me." The song is included on the 2009 album "Funhouse" and became one of the most listened to songs of the year, reaching number 17 in the United States.
I have a special fondness for it because when I was younger, I really liked that album and used to listen to it frequently, so bringing it here is a bit of a revelation, as well as a novelty. It's not usually the genre I sing, but I like to vary and experiment; especially when I really like something, I don't usually care where it comes from, as long as it works for me. So, remembering those lyrics again transported me back a bit and helped me sing it. Like Pink, she has a power in her songs, which I think is the most important thing for performing it: not losing the thread, maintaining the power and projection of the voice. I enjoyed singing it. ¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Music! Luego de algún tiempo fuera de la comunidad, vuelvo por aquí para continuar trayendo algunos nuevos covers, que cómo siempre, son hechos con mucho cariño, esfuerzo y dedicación. Reiterando que no soy una profesional del canto, más bien aficionada y amante de la música, intentando dar lo mejor de mi. Dicho esto, el día de hoy me uno por aquí con una canción de la artista estadounidense, Pink, la cual se titula "Don't Leave Me". La canción se incluye en el álbum "Funhouse" de 2009 y se convirtió en una de las más escuchadas del año, alcanzó el puesto número 17 en Estados Unidos.
Le guardo especial cariño porque cuando era más joven me gustaba bastante ese disco y solía escuchar con frecuencia dicha canción, por lo que traerla por aquí es algo un poco revelador, además de una novedad. No suele ser el género que canto, pero me gusta variar y experimentar; sobre todo cuando algo me gusta bastante, no me suele importar de donde viene, solo que funcione para mí. Por lo que recordar nuevamente esas letras, me transportó un poco a esa época y me ayudó a cantarla. Cómo Pink, la misma tiene una fuerza en sus canciones que creo es lo más importante para interpretarlo; no perder el hilo, manteniendo la potencia y la proyección de la voz. Me ha gustado cantarla.
