Hello,
Just a quick post from me as I wanted to show off my brand new guitar ! It's quite beautiful if I don't say so myself. But other than being rather nice to look at I must say it actually plays really good (Which is the mean thing I guess 🤣) This is going to be the main gigging guitar now. Although it was hard to bring myself to break it in it had to be done.
I like the standard fender headstock on it because it seems to be easy to tune and also has a cool different sort of look to it. I was also unsure about the colour but I must admit I think it is growing on me. The main feature I brought it for was the fact that it was electro-acoustic. As I plan to be playing a lot more live shows it just makes it a lot easier than micing up my pure acoustic guitar. Not that I will never gig with my Epiphone ever again but I think this will make things a lot easier.
I also brought a neat little busking amp as well which I hope I will get to show off in some of my videos soon. I do fancy doing a bit of busking but as it's rather different to doing a live show I feel I need to practise a bit different for it. I'm not sure if one is harder than the other but standing out in the elements with a stage makes me feel a little nervous if I'm honest. I think ultimately I will enjoy it though. Even though the amp is small it does both vocals and guitar so I might be able to do some smaller venues as well which will be handy.
You might not be able to see it all that well but I did also purchase a pretty study case which you can see featured in the background which I really do need for when I'm travelling out and about. Was expensive for a 'Case' but does offer good protection while not being too heavy.
Looking forward to playing this up north when I go away next month to manchester. Also going to be hitting some local open mics etc.
Thanks for reading and let me know what out think about the new guitar
