He estado meditando acerca de las cosas que me gustan y he confirmado que la educación es una de ellas.
A lo largo de mi carrera como músico he desempeñado el trabajo de profesor, tallerista y director de orquesta dentro del Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela. Trabajos en los que se requiere de ciertas habilidades pedagógicas para garantizar el crecimiento musical de los nuevos integrantes. No tengo estudios profesionales como docente, por lo que esto representó un gran reto para mí, considerando que cuando empecé a enseñar también era bastante joven.
Poder licenciarme en este sentido sería de gran satisfacción y considero que sería una dirección lógica para continuar mis estudios musicales. Así que pensando en qué clase de contenido podría crear que fuese de utilidad para esta comunidad, que cada día crece más y más, he decido compartir mis conocimientos con todos los que deseen aprender, complementar su educación o simplemente curiosear sobre el mundo musical.

I love to teach
I have been meditating about the things I like and I have confirmed that education is one of them.
Throughout my career as a musician, I have worked as a teacher, workshop leader and orchestra conductor within the Venezuelan Orchestra System. Jobs that require certain pedagogical skills to ensure the musical growth of new members. I do not have professional studies as a teacher, so this represented a great challenge for me, considering that when I started teaching I was also quite young.
To be able to graduate in this sense would be of great satisfaction and I consider it would be a logical direction to continue my musical studies. So, thinking about what kind of content I could create that would be useful for this community, which is growing more and more every day, I have decided to share my knowledge with all those who wish to learn, complement their education or simply be curious about the musical world.
Otra forma de escuchar la música
En este sentido, me he dedicado a hacer algunos análisis musicales sobre música universal. Con el fin de poder darles una perspectiva nueva a la forma en la que escuchamos la música. Escudriñar sus detalles, el significado de la letra, las ideas dentro de la armonía, el desarrollo melódico, etc. Con el fin de apreciar un poco más de este arte, de cómo se desarrolla una obra y la complejidad (o simplicidad) como herramientas para producir sensaciones al público. Pero también me ha servido para poner en práctica mis conocimientos y afianzarlos. El que enseña aprende dos veces, dicen.
Another way to listen to music
In this sense, I have dedicated myself to make some musical analyses about universal music. To give you a new perspective on the way we listen to music. To scrutinize its details, the meaning of the lyrics, the ideas inside the harmony, the melodic development, etc. To appreciate a little more of this art, how a song is developed, and the complexity (or simplicity) as tools to produce sensations to the public. But it has also served me to put my knowledge into practice and strengthen it. Who teaches learns twice, they say.
Amor en seis cuerdas
Hace un par de días les compartí un vídeo, después de mucho luchar conmigo mismo, para que fueran testigos de mi amor por la guitarra clásica. Una humilde interpretación, pero con mucho cariño, de una de las más hermosas composiciones del maestro Francisco Tárrega, Lágrima. Y les comenté que tampoco tengo estudios formales en este instrumento, pero mi amor por sus timbres me han inspirado a practicar y reproducir esas melodías que tanta ilusión me han hecho.
Love in six strings
A couple of days ago I shared with you a video, after much struggle with myself, so that you could witness my love for the classical guitar. A humble interpretation, but with much affection, of one of the most beautiful compositions of the maestro Francisco Tárrega, Lágrima. And I told you that I have no formal studies in this instrument either, but my love for its timbres has inspired me to practice and reproduce those melodies that have made me so excited.

Aprendamos juntos
Uniendo todo lo anterior, con el fin de aportar valor a Hive, promover el crecimiento musical de todos los que estén interesados y ayudarme a construir mis habilidades como profesor (y guitarrista), comenzaré a publicar una serie de blogs dedicados al aprendizaje de la guitarra clásica. Tratando en lo posible de hacerlo versátil y didáctico. Acercándonos a contenido teórico e interpretativo, repertorio clásico y patrones básicos de acompañamiento.
Por supuesto, seguiré haciendo análisis musicales :D
Sin más, espero que puedan acercarse y disfrutar de este mundo tan hermoso que es la guitarra clásica.

Let's learn together
Joining all of the above, to bring value to Hive, promote the musical growth of all those who are interested, and help me build my skills as a teacher (and guitarist), I will begin to publish a series of blogs dedicated to learning classical guitar. Trying as much as possible to make it versatile and didactic. Approaching theoretical and interpretative content, classical repertoire, and basic accompaniment patterns.
Of course, I will continue doing musical analysis :D
