"In My Dreams" is part of a series of three different songs I wrote in the last month (all during naps - oddly) . It's been crazy, with lyrics and words, and chord arrangements just flowing out.
I wrote three different songs, two of which we finished and performed on the night. The third is a massively ambitious project that is going to need the support of a piano, and basically a whole band. Let me know if you're keen on helping!
The three songs are vastly different, the inspiration, in order, ranging from soft country rock, to Skunk Anansi style anger and raw emotion, to complete over the top but meaningful and rocking yet tear-jerking 80s/90s glam rock ballads.

It was hard to get through as I fought back tears and the giant lump in my throat...For any of you who are hurting and feeling loss, or lost, and need a little comfort... or maybe a lot... this song is for you.
