@JasperDick's ode to Cape Town is a refreshing testament to both his love for his hometown, as well as his musical ingenuity.
I was already terrified when presented with the tambourine and shaker a week before our last gig and having just got the hang of it, Jasper struck again with this weird and whacky instrumental addition to our repertoire, this time with just one rehearsal for me to learn it.
Honestly, I was more frightened of tripping over it (which I did in the rehearsal) or whacking over all our microphones, but it would seem like, once again, Jasper's instincts were right, and the gentle rain sound - coupled with breaths of wind, certainly do paint a picture of the Cape Town weather, making us feel right at home.
