This time I bring you 5 music videos with epic drone shots, ideal for all of us who love landscapes and are dying to have a drone in our hands.

En esta oportunidad les traigo 5 videos musicales con tomas de drone épicas, ideal para los que somos amantes de los paisajes y morimos por tener un drone en nuestras manos.
MOVIMIENTO - JORGE DREXLER
“Si quieres que algo se muera, déjalo quieto”
Movimiento es una de mis canciones favoritas de Drexler y el video musical es una joya que jamás he podido omitir cuando de videos favoritos se trata.
Este video posee dos locaciones, una biblioteca en Madrid donde se grabaron las tomas de Jorge cantando, y otra parte del video fue grabado en la Sierra Tarahumara, México, donde se registraron una gama de paisajes preciosos por los que vemos pasar corriendo a una mujer.
Desde el inicio del video nos presentan a Lorena Ramírez, ganadora de la Ultramaratón de Los Cañones de Guachochi (100 km), y nos aclaran que Lorena forma parte del pueblo Tarahumara, quienes son conocidos por correr distancias de varios cientos de kilómetros. Esta participación de una corredora indigena puede interpretarse como una oda a la tradición del movimiento, ya que el pueblo Tarahumara acostumbra a mantenerse corriendo, por lo que es genial tener una invitada que lo vive en carne propia, lo cual encaja perfecto con el mensaje de la canción.
Mis tomas menos favoritas son las de Jorge en la biblioteca, honestamente me parece que están demás y que solo con las tomas de Lorena hubiese sido más épico. Aún así, las tomas en la Sierra Tarahumara son tan lindas que no puedo omitir este video de mi top.

Movimiento is one of my favorite Drexler songs and the music video is a gem that I have never been able to skip when it comes to favorite videos.
This video has two locations, a library in Madrid where the shots of Jorge singing were filmed, and another part of the video was filmed in the Sierra Tarahumara, Mexico, where a range of beautiful landscapes were recorded where we see a woman running past.
From the beginning of the video we are introduced to Lorena Ramirez, winner of the Ultramarathon of Los Cañones de Guachochi (100 km), and it is made clear that Lorena is part of the Tarahumara people, who are known for running distances of several hundred kilometers. This participation of an indigenous runner can be interpreted as an ode to the tradition of the movement, as the Tarahumara people are used to keep running, so it's great to have a guest who lives it firsthand, which fits perfectly with the message of the song.
My least favorite shots are the ones of Jorge in the library, honestly I think they're overdone and just Lorena's shots would have been more epic. Still, the shots in the Sierra Tarahumara are so beautiful that I can't omit this video from my top.

Esta canción es un descargue y el video definitivamente eleva la nota de la música.
En las artes visuales existe algo llamado ritmo, esto consiste en la repetición ordenada de líneas y formas para crear patrones. En este video musical se utilizan la arquitectura y el elemento humano como recursos para añadir ritmo y tensión a la composición.
Lo que más me gusta de este video es precisamente que añadieran a tantas personas realizando los mismos movimientos, da un look tanto artístico como perturbador. Esta coreografía perfectamente orquestada al ser grabada desde una toma aérea termina dando un resultado impresionante ¿No les parece?
This is a killer song, and the video definitely raises the tone of the music.
In visual arts there is something called rhythm, this consists of the orderly repetition of lines and shapes to create patterns. In this music video architecture and the human element are used as resources to add rhythm and tension to the composition.
What I like most about this video is precisely that they added so many people performing the same movements, it gives a look both artistic and disturbing. This perfectly orchestrated choreography when recorded from an aerial shot ends up giving an impressive result, don't you think?

HECATOMBE - FRESCO & DARK
Hecatombe es una masterpiece entre los videos musicales hechos en Venezuela. Se divide en tres partes, ORIGEN, NÚCLEO y ÉXODO, ya que como tal son tres temas musicales que van juntos bajo un mismo concepto. Todo el video es en blanco y negro y la mayor parte de las tomas estan hechas con drone.
En Hecatombe Daniel Loaiza captura diversos paisajes de Venezuela, como Los Médanos de Coro en Falcón, La Gran Sabana en Bolívar y El Ávila en Caracas, pero además de usar tomas de lugares turísticos que son bonitos, incluye tomas más crudas cuya locación es el vertedero de basura de la capital, estas las podemos ver en NÚCLEO (2:43), la cual es mi sección favorita del video.
Hecatombe is a masterpiece among music videos made in Venezuela. It is divided in three parts, ORIGEN, NÚCLEO and ÉXODO(origin, core and exodus in english) as such they are three musical themes that go together under the same concept. The whole video is in black and white and most of the shots are made with drone.
In Hecatombe Daniel Loaiza captures diverse landscapes of Venezuela, such as Los Medanos de Coro in Falcon, La Gran Sabana in Bolivar and El Avila in Caracas, but besides using shots of tourist places that are beautiful, he includes more raw shots whose location is the garbage dump of the capital, these we can see in NUCLEO (2:43), which is my favorite section of the video.
I WON'T LET YOU DOWN - OK GO
OK Go es una banda que siempre ha destacado por tener videos musicales super dinamicos bailando sobre objetos raros, como una caminadora de gimnasio o en este caso sobre un carrito electrónico.
En este video cuentan un combo de bailarinas en cuya coreografía abren y cierran unos paraguas de distintos colores, lo cual crea dinamismo y ritmo en la imagen, y al ser enfocadas desde arriba se ve todo super sincronizado.
Mi parte favorita del video es cerca de la mitad, en el minuto 3:02, cuando la cámara baja y da vueltas entre los músicos para luego subir hacia el cielo una vez más.
OK Go is a band that has always stood out for having super dynamic music videos dancing on weird objects, like a gym treadmill or in this case on an electronic cart.
In this video they have a combo of dancers in whose choreography they open and close umbrellas of different colors, which creates dynamism and rhythm in the image, and when they are focused from above everything looks super synchronized.
My favorite part of the video is near the middle, at minute 3:02, when the camera pans down and circles between the musicians and then up into the sky once again.

VOCÉ - LA VIDA BOHEME
Você es uno de mis videos favoritos cuando se trata de guión y tomas de drone.
La trama es expuesta de manera muy cinematográfica, utilizando un narrador y subtítulos al inicio del video, y aunque las tomas de drone son pocas, estás me causan mucho sentimiento y nostalgia por ser paisajes de mi país. La toma del bote es, sin duda, mi favorita en todo el vídeo.
Você is one of my favorite videos when it comes to script and drone shots.
The plot is exposed in a very cinematic way, using a narrator and subtitles at the beginning of the video, and although the drone shots are few, they cause me a lot of feeling and nostalgia for being landscapes of my country. The boat shot is, without a doubt, my favorite in the whole video.
