Congratulation to , your song has been picked!! Well done on earning 1 HIVE!
You're lucky that I already knew the song, I was supposed to work on request, but I decided to knock the one I know out of the park, but it took a little longer than expected.
I hope you don't mind, yours is on its way too.
For all of you that want me to cover a song you like, just add your song in the comment section, and I'll play it for you, you earn 1 HIVE, it's a honest living seriously 😄
First location
I've been looking into recording at that location since the locationhunt 2 weeks ago, and finally having a clear day, I gave a it a go, unfortunately the battery of the phone didn't last, I could have kept the version because it looked really good and only a few seconds were missing before the phone switched off while recording, but I thought that dalaying the shot to the next day wasn't a bad idea.
A really great look at the mountains, such a pity
Second Location
While on my way to the first location, I had a second of innattention, and the car ended up in a ditch. That's the first time something like this happen to me, for full disclosure, and I didn't enjoy the feeling.
I am happy nothing bad happened, I just also realized that I have been maybe multitasking a bit too much, and working like a maniac, I am planning on slowing down next week, that's the beauty of having no boss.
I'm also aware of the luck that I just had, I take it as a sign, I know I powered down 1k and I was trying to make up for the the 1k I m powering down, but nothing is worth the money, there is no point of becoming greedy.
So I'll try to learn how to slow down in the next few days, I really don't know how to do that, but I have to try.
Third Location
After the little kerfuffle, I thought it was time to do simple, so I picked a spot on the land we have, it's walking distance, I just have to wake up and go record.
It's quite early, and I would have waited a bit longer, unfortunately I had plenty of things to do during the day, so I work late, wake up early, and this is exactly why I gotta learn how how to chill haha.
Anyway, it's a beautiful spot, it's -3c, and my fingers are cold.
Perfect, this song from Ed Sheeran, is pretty cool. I normally like to slide some bluesy notes in between the transitions, but with the cold, I couldn't do much haha.
it's a concept of its own, the cold makes it impossible to play fingerstyle with precision.
It means that the song must be even more stripped down that usual. It's kind of a new concept to record in freezing temps. I can hear that the chords are also a bit dissonant, the cold is tightening up the string and untuning them quickly haha.
Should I take it as a sign? Should I just record at home from now on?
I don't know.
Maybe I should just relax for a while, I know which songs need to be recorded in the next few weeks, but I think I know what I am going to buy with the HP I powered down. A new pc, so I don't have to use the one from the kids and staying up all night working on posts.
I have to do it during the day :

Speaking of which, look how good it looked a few minutes after finishing the recording...
Maybe I should have waited a bit longer, but as I said, I had things to do afterwards, it's ok I will have plenty of other opportunities to record videos.
