Hola amigos || Hello friends
Eight years ago, I wrote this song for one of the music contests that existed at the time on the blockchain, where our friend and brother
held a songwriting contest in which I undoubtedly participated and where, together with
, we used to work day, afternoon, and night to give you songs that you wouldn't easily forget. Although I tried to make it sound better, today my laptop woke up with a cold. For some reason, it freezes at certain moments for a few seconds, which I don't know if it has to do with the problem I was having with the recording software (Cubase).
As you can see, today I'm sharing another song I wrote at home, a song about someone who is going through a deep sense of desolation and loss, dealing with memory and forgetting. And yes, at that time I was not only saying goodbye to my son who was moving to another country, but also dealing with the loss of one of my younger sisters and, well, the separation from my son's mother. I was going through some pretty vulnerable times, but thank God I had a great friend by my side,
, who taught me that we will always find a safe haven in music.
It is true that in the same song we can understand that there may be a shift towards the possibility of love or encounter. As it says in this part, “From nothing, on a shore, I found love,” but the melancholic tune persists, suggesting that hope is fragile and intertwined with pain, which is why we can find different meanings in the same song. I think it all depends on how the listener interprets it. So, I look forward to reading your opinions and what your hearts perceived.
Letra:
Caminas por la nada,
tu cuerpo siente frío.
Tú eres lo que fuiste,
un recuerdo del olvido.
Ahora estás sola
como alma congelada.
Son tus memorias,
un recuerdo del olvido.
Y así sangra tu historia,
azotada por la brisa.
Desde nada una orilla yo,
encontré el amor, amor.
Y así sangra tu historia,
azotada por la brisa.
Desde nada una orilla yo,
encontré el amor, amor.
Music is what gives meaning to my life, my passion for it, it is as vital as water to live. Sounds that change my mood in seconds... Music surrounds me, it revives moments that are gone and will not return, it makes me dream, in other words, any kind of music makes me feel very good and I enjoy it. I am grateful to all my friends who support my art, my music. To each one of them THANK YOU!
me despido, mi querida familia.
