Pleased to make my first publication for the MUSIC community, in which I have found an unprecedented talent. I am Elías Santana, engineer by profession, chess player and music lover. Music for me is a form of meditation. It comforts me, makes me happy to interpret a melody and fills me with a lot of satisfaction the fact that other people like it. In the audiovisual resource, I have lovingly interpreted four melodies:
I remember that my main attraction was wind instruments, I even dreamed of playing the transverse flute, but economic conditions made it difficult to buy this instrument. This demotivated me, and since I was 11 years old I gave up music. It was when I met a great friend Jesod Bracho at the age of 15, that when he showed me the piano, my love for music was awakened again, and I returned to it, this time with the piano, and since then I have not left it.
Condor Pasa, whose author is Daniel Alomía Robles. This is an emblematic Peruvian song. It was one of the first songs I learned as a child and I am very happy to be able to interpret it for all of you with my flute.
Imagine, by John Lenon. The meaning of the lyrics of this song is really deep, and every time I play this song in an instrumental way, in the process I imagine its content, the beautiful message that the author leaves us with this musical wonder. I have played this song on the ZAMPOÑA, a typical Peruvian instrument.
