Hello friends! Welcome once again to my blog. This is a special occasion because hurricane Taylor Swift hit me again.
El domingo fueron los VMAs (Video Music Awars), una entrega de premios musicales realizada por MTV. Taylor estaba nominada a 5 categorías: Vídeo del año, Mejor dirección, Mejor vídeo (formato largo), Mejor cinematografía y Mejor edición; de las que ganó 3: Mejor vídeo (formato largo), Mejor dirección y Vídeo del año.
Sunday was the VMAs (Video Music Awars), a music awards show put on by MTV. Taylor was nominated for 5 categories: Video of the Year, Best Directing, Best Video (long format), Best Cinematography and Best Editing; of which she won 3: Best Video (long format), Best Directing and Video of the Year.
La categoría de Vídeo del año es una de las más importantes para los fans por el desempeño y el detalle que se tomó al hacer el Short Film de All Too Well. Bien merecido se lo tenía, pero no estoy aquí para hablar de él. Sin embargo, se los dejó por acá por si todavía no vieron esta joyita.
The Video of the Year category is one of the most important for fans because of the performance and the detail that went into making the Short Film of All Too Well. It was well deserved, but I'm not here to talk about it. However, I'll leave you here in case you haven't seen this little gem yet.
Hace mucho que está desaparecida en escena así que fue una sorpresa que asistiera a este evento, pero no solo asistió sino que fue vestida dándonos a entender que se venía el regrabado de Reputation, aunque era poco probable; sin embargo, nos sorprendió anunciando en el escenario, tras ganar la categoría de Video del año, un nuevo álbum llamado Midnights que saldrá este 21 de octubre y contará con 13 canciones.
She has been missing from the scene for a long time so it was a surprise that she attended this event, but not only did she attend but she was dressed up giving us to understand that the re-recording of Reputation was coming, although it was unlikely; however, she surprised us by announcing on stage, after winning the Video of the Year category, a new album called Midnights that will be released this October 21st and will feature 13 songs.
Este nuevo álbum nos va a contar historias y vivencias de noches de insomnio que cualquiera podemos tener. Esas decisiones que tomamos o cuando le damos vueltas a algo una y otra vez, esas angustias o alegrías que nos consumen y nos quitan el sueño. Un álbum que sin dudas va a ser muy esperado a partir de ahora. No salió y ya está batiendo récords, imagínense. Esas 13 canciones parecen ser de su experiencia. Pero bueno, todavía es muy pronto para este tipo de información.
This new album will tell us stories and experiences of sleepless nights that anyone can have. Those decisions we make or when we think about something over and over again, those anxieties or joys that consume us and take away our sleep. An album that will undoubtedly be eagerly awaited from now on. It hasn't been released yet and it's already breaking records, just imagine. Those 13 songs seem to be from his experience. But well, it's still too early for this kind of information.
Me gusta mucho la portada, es sobria y un tanto seductora. En cambio, la contraportada es angustiante. Hay especulaciones de que el género va a ser Pop/Rock. Lo que sería genial porque aún le falta experimentar un poco en la parte de Rock. Ya veremos.
Estoy muy feliz por esta noticia, algo venía intuyendo porque estaba media desaparecida y no es una artista que se quede descansando por mucho tiempo. Me imaginaba que estaría componiendo canciones nuevas.
I really like the cover, it is sober and somewhat seductive. In contrast, the back cover is distressing. There is speculation that the genre is going to be Pop/Rock. Which would be great because it still lacks a bit of experimentation on the Rock side. We'll see.
I am very happy about this news, something I had been sensing because she was half disappeared and she is not an artist that stays resting for a long time. I imagined that she would be composing new songs.
