El día de hoy les traigo mi clásico post musical, para comenzar el año con energía, mi primera reseña tiene como temática el hablar sobre un grupo que ha revolucionado mucho la música en mi país, Venezuela, porque sacó a relucir muchos baúles de recuerdos muy bonitos con unos covers de calidad élite.
La reseña de hoy tiene que ver con Free Cover, una agrupación musical que se encarga de realizar covers instrumentales con la compañía de los autores/intérpretes originales de las canciones, así que, sin más que agregar, ¡comencemos!
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic musical post, to start the year with energy, my first review has as its theme to talk about a group that has revolutionized music in my country, Venezuela, because it brought up many beautiful memory trunks with some elite quality covers.
Today's review has to do with Free Cover, a musical group that is in charge of performing instrumental covers with the company of the original authors/performers of the songs, so, without further ado, let's get started!
1.- Pollo Brito (Homenaje a Billos Caracas Boys)

Comienzo esta reseña con el primer Free Cover en Venezuela que escuché, no podía ser otro más que con el Pollo Brito; me pareció bastante extraño que no trajera música propia, pero el Pollo siempre ha sido muy bueno para interpretar y arreglar canciones de grupos épicos venezolanos y en este caso no fue la excepción, porque le hizo cover al mítico grupo Billos Caracas Boys.
Lo épico de todo es que algunas canciones sí sonaron muy parecidas al estilo original de esta agrupación y definitivamente me gustó mucho, lo escuché incluso con mi papá y me dijo que el estilo del Pollo le daba un sonido fresco pero que tenía que tener cuidado de no perder la esencia, aunque la idea y visión de un Cover realmente tiene que ver con eso, con realizar tu versión de algún artista, personalmente me gustó bastante.

I start this review with the first Free Cover in Venezuela that I heard, it couldn't be any other than with Pollo Brito; I found it quite strange that he didn't bring his own music, but Pollo has always been very good at interpreting and arranging songs of epic Venezuelan groups and in this case was no exception, because he covered the mythical group Billos Caracas Boys.
The epic thing is that some songs sounded very similar to the original style of this group and I definitely liked it a lot, I even listened to it with my dad and he told me that Pollo's style gave it a fresh sound but that he had to be careful not to lose the essence, although the idea and vision of a cover really has to do with that, with making your version of an artist, personally I liked it a lot.
2.- Los Ilegales
Debo decir que al escuchar este Free Cover se me erizó la piel totalmente porque me hizo recordar demasiados buenos momentos de mi vida en los que bailé demasiado estas canciones legendarias del grupo Ilegales, me encanta cómo la gente de Free Cover hacen los coros exactamente iguales, la energía vivida en este performance es increíble.
Obviamente el artista principal ya está un poco avanzado de edad, pero preserva esa esencia épica de rapero merenguero, siento que escuchar este vídeo me puso demasiado feliz y si tú, que me estás leyendo, eres fanático o fanática de este grupo, créeme que vas a sonreír viendo esta colaboración.
I must say that listening to this Free Cover totally made my skin crawl because it made me remember too many good moments of my life in which I danced too much to these legendary songs of the group Ilegales, I love how the people of Free Cover do the chorus exactly the same, the energy experienced in this performance is incredible.
Obviously the main artist is already a little advanced in age, but he preserves that epic essence of a merengue rapper, I feel that listening to this video made me too happy and if you, who are reading this, are a fan of this group, believe me you will smile watching this collaboration.
3.- Betulio Medina (Mix Maracaibo 15)
Sé que acabamos de salir de la Navidad, pero debo admitir que este ha sido uno de los mejores Free Cover de todos los que he escuchado, sobretodo porque aunque Betulio Medina está bastante viejito en edad, sigue siendo una eminencia total y absoluta para cantar y aquí lo deja entrever demasiado.
Escuchar este mix, literalmente es devolverme a esos bonitos lugares y recuerdos que me traía el escuchar esas místicas canciones para cerrar cada año en compañía de mi familia, era demasiado hermoso todo y este performance fue increíble.
I know we just came out of Christmas, but I must admit that this has been one of the best Free Covers I have ever heard, especially because although Betulio Medina is quite old in age, he is still a total and absolute eminence to sing and here he shows it too much.
Listening to this mix is literally bringing me back to those beautiful places and memories that brought me to listen to those mystical songs to close each year in the company of my family, it was all too beautiful and this performance was incredible.
Bonus Track.- Dimensión Latina
Para aquellos que no viven en Venezuela, es probable que no conozcan a este grupo legendario conocido como Dimensión Latina, pero este fue un grupo de música bailable que en los 90 y los 2000 tuvo muchísima fama y mucho sabor, de hecho, muchas de sus canciones siguen vigentes hoy en día para los que amamos la salsa.
Este homenaje fue increíble y debo admitir que lo que más me encantó fueron los cantantes porque se nota mucho la diferencia de sus voces por la edad, pero siguen teniendo el mismo suín y sabor por lo que, escuchar estos clásicos fue increíble y por eso quise traerlo como bonus track.
For those who do not live in Venezuela, you probably do not know this legendary group known as Dimensión Latina, but this was a dance music group that in the 90's and 2000's had a lot of fame and flavor, in fact, many of their songs are still valid today for those who love salsa.
This tribute was amazing and I must admit that what I loved the most were the singers because you can notice the difference in their voices because of their age, but they still have the same flavor and flavor so, listening to these classics was amazing and that's why I wanted to bring it as a bonus track.

Debo decir que para hacer un trabajo como este se necesitan muchísimas personas con mucha experiencia y calidad élite, porque no solo es un trabajo increíble de parte de los músicos, sino también de los camarógrafos, de los ingenieros de sonido para poder grabar ese sonido así de profesional y demás, este formato es increíble y sé que esta no será la primera reseña de Free Cover en Venezuela que haré.
