Confinement being imposed, it is now time to make an inventory of my acquisitions as far as my CD and vinyl collection is concerned. After all, I have plenty of time to do this task ! However, I didn't think I'd be doing this kind of article before a little while, since it seemed much wiser to wait a little longer and therefore to provide you, in a more recurring way, with an overview of these albums that have made history in the Punk/Hardcore movement. I will try to update this list irregularly when the opportunity arises and when I have enough material to reveal you. In groups of four and at the frequency of one title per post, we will discover together, historical works in their physical versions, in analog or digital version. Sharpen your Dr Martens, put on your most beautiful T-shirts and punk patches, because we are going to travel to discover these pieces of music which made the great hours of a young protest movement and which sometimes deliver a message still in the era of time !
G.G Allin & Antiseen / Murder Junkies / 1991 / TKO Records

"Murder, Murder !" It is with this invitation to violence and decadence that one of the most emblematic albums of an artist who has never ceased to push the limits of decency begins. Jesus Christ Allin, better known by his stage name G.G Allin, is the quintessential nihilist-leaning punk rocker. Lunatic, immoral and literally sociopathic, this icon of the American underground represents in itself a concentrate of hatred with no other means of expression than music and stage. Relegating Marilyn Manson to the rank of the little players, G.G Allin has never stopped living a life without compromise, with all the excesses that this could imply.
Addicted to sex more than deviant and to drugs, he didn't hesitate for a single moment to play the provocation factor and to create fear in the minds of those who ventured to attend one of his gigs. His performances were then only an outlet for his lustful impulses. It was not uncommon to see him mutilating himself on stage, assaulting his audience but also defecating and thus engaging in coprophagia in order to offend weaker minds. The society of the American Dream has engendered all kinds of deviancy and G.G Allin is just the simple expression of it.

Fruit of his collaboration with Antiseen, Murder Junkies remains without a doubt his most accomplished work. Violent, dark, trashy and particularly explicit, this album doesn't go by four ways and takes you straight into the more than disturbed spirit of this illustrious freak. No, Murder Junkies clearly doesn't belong to the rosewater poetry. In fact, quite the contrary ! With titles such as "I Hate People", "Sister Sodomy", "Rape, Torture, Terminate And Fuck", we are in front of a production that smells like shit, sperm and blood! The musical part is not to be outdone, with a minimalist and energetic rhythmic accentuating the dark side, but also primitive, lyrics vociferated by a G.G. who necessarily abused some alcohol of all kinds ! The hatred has never been as appreciable as with three chords and a rhythmic more than basic !
Murder Junkies is a cult record that was first re-released on CD in the early 90s. After a long absence and unavailability, this Punk/Hardcore anthology record was re-released in 2003 and then in a limited edition in 2018, under the impulse of Merle Allin. A record full of sensations that will surely bring back your lowest instincts and urges. Forget all those fucking posers and impostors, G.G Allin was the king !
