Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing to you from Cape Town in South Africa!
Welcome to "Three Tune Tuesday", an initiative started by 
For those of you who are not familiar, the Hive Open Mic is a weekly challenge on the Hive Open Mic community for anybody who loves to sing. You don’t even need to play an instrument, a backing track or a cappella is also fine as far as I can tell!
Different artists are given the chance to choose a “Theme of the Week” that the posts should be based on. Often it can be difficult for people to think about easy songs that might fit that theme… so let me see if I can be of any assistance to the people who still might not know what to try by the time Tuesday comes around!

“Both Sides Now” – Joni Mitchell
The first verse and chorus of this wonderful song, that I remember music teachers making us sing all the time in school, is all about clouds!
Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
Looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun
They rain and they snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all
What’s cool is that you can be inspired by the version she sang when she was young like this:

One of The Rolling Stones’ more bluesy numbers with a catchy call and answer chorus: “Hey (hey) You (you) Get off of my cloud!”

“Cloudy Day” – Tones & I
Whoa, so we’d better have something from this century! Here’s one by the famous voice behind the phenomenon that was “Dance Monkey”. Hahaha – this one is a bit more normal I promise, although it gets a bit repetitive towards the end! Still, it’s lovely upbeat pop music:
So that's week 142 done and dusted! I hope that gave some people some ideas on how to tackle the Hive Open Mic Challenge this week? Perhaps I’ve even inspired one or two new people to give it a try? Please let me know!

Para aquellos de ustedes que no están familiarizados, Hive Open Mic es un desafío semanal en la comunidad de Hive Open Mic para cualquiera que ame cantar. ¡Ni siquiera necesitas tocar un instrumento, por lo que yo sé, una pista de acompañamiento o a capela también está bien!
Diferentes artistas tienen la oportunidad de elegir un “Tema de la semana” en el que se basarán las publicaciones. A menudo puede resultar difícil para las personas pensar en canciones sencillas que puedan encajar con ese tema... ¡así que déjenme ver si puedo ser de alguna ayuda para las personas que quizás todavía no sepan qué probar cuando llegue el martes!

¡La primera estrofa y el estribillo de esta maravillosa canción, que recuerdo que los profesores de música nos hacían cantar todo el tiempo en la escuela, trata sobre las nubes!
Filas y flujos de cabello de ángel.

Y cañones de plumas por todas partes
Miró las nubes de esa manera
Pero ahora sólo bloquean el sol.

¡Vaya, será mejor que tengamos algo de este siglo! Aquí hay uno de la famosa voz detrás del fenómeno que fue "Dance Monkey". Jajaja, este es un poco más normal, lo prometo, ¡aunque se vuelve un poco repetitivo hacia el final! Aún así, es una música pop encantadora y alegre:
