Music has always given me magical moments, whether I participate with my singing or attend the best concerts as a spectator. This post is about one of those moments that will remain engraved in my heart for a long time, and as you can see in the video, Jhoxiris has surprised me again by joining the world of lyrical singing with Venezuelan popular music, and what an explosive combination...

La música siempre me ha regalado momentos mágicos, ya sea que participe con mi canto o asista de espectador a los mejores conciertos. Este post se trata de uno de esos momentos que quedará grabado en mi corazón por mucho tiempo, y es que como pueden ver en el video, Jhoxiris me ha sorprendido nuevamente al unir el mundo del canto lírico con la música popular venezolana, y vaya que fue una combinación explosiva...

To put them in context, my girlfriend Hive account@jhoxiris is a student of lyrical singing, and not just any student, she is very good, she belongs to the most prestigious chair of singing in Caracas. For many years I have followed the work of all these guys who perfect the art of singing and although I also study it, there is no comparison with those who are already dedicated to making pear even before graduating. I must admit that they all surprised me because together with their teacher they performed this concert where for the first time I saw them interpreting popular Latin American music and they closed with a Venezuelan repertoire. I never thought it would be a good combination, but everything they did was incredible.

Para ponerlos en contexto, mi novia Hive account@jhoxiris es estudiante de canto lírico, y no cualquier estudiante, es muy buena, pertenece a la cátedra de canto más prestigiosa de Caracas. Por muchos años he seguido el trabajo de todos estos muchachos que perfeccionan el arte del canto y a pesar de que también lo estudio, no hay comparación con quienes ya se dedican a hacer pera incluso antes de graduarse. Debo admitir que todos me sorprendieron porque junto a su Maestra llevaron a cabo este concierto donde por primera vez los vi interpretando música popular latinoamericana y cerraron con repertorio venezolano. Yo jamás pensé que fuera una buena combinación, pero todo lo que hicieron fue increíble.

To continue talking only about my Jhoxiris. On this occasion she interpreted María la O, a beautiful Cuban piece that paralyzed all the spectators with emotion, and then she participated in the second part with a washerwomen's song together with the mezzos and other sopranos of the professorship. His grand finale, and what filled me with the most pride was when he sang Los Dos Gavilanes, accompanied by tenor Jesús Herrera, who is my string leader in La Coral. I must admit, Jhoxiris has always been impressive in opera, but I was happy to stand out in Venezuelan popular, but now I have been surpassed hahaha. While people applauded the end of the tongue twister I couldn't stop crying from the emotion, so excuse me for the video not having the best quality... It's for crying 🤣

Para seguir hablando solo de mi Jhoxiris. En esta ocasión ella interpretó María la O, una hermosa pieza cubana que paralizó de emoción a todos los espectadores, y luego participó en la segunda parte con un canto de lavanderas juntos a las mezzos y otras sopranos de la cátedra. Su gran final, y lo que más me llenó de orgullo fue cuando cantó Los Dos Gavilanes, acompañado del tenor Jesús Herrera, que es mi jefe de cuerda en La Coral. Debo admitirlo, Jhoxiris siempre ha sido impresionante en la opera, pero yo me sentía feliz de resaltar en lo popular venezolano, pero ahora he sido superado jajaja. Mientras las personas aplaudían el final del trabalenguas yo no podía dejar de llorar de la emoción, así que me disculpan que el video no tenga la mejor calidad... Es por llorón 😅

As you can see in the photo above, it's inevitable to meet music-loving people at these events. On that occasion I met two girls from Hive account@hiveopenmic, Karla and Kendry, who happen to be cousins and went to support our friend Hive account@kimberlycmq. The concert took place at the Simon Bolivar Hall of the National Center of Social Action for Music in Caracas. The video and these photos were captured with my Tecno Pova II, and I'm sharing it without edits. I hope you like the post and that I have conveyed a little of the joy of that day, although I owe you more than the rest of my colleagues did. I love this song from Tongue Twister Sparrowhawk. I want to share with you down here the version I did with my dad for the Hive Open Mic, but it doesn't compare to Jhoxiris' singing 🤣 Have a happy day folks!...

Como pueden ver en la foto de arriba, es inevitable encontrarme gente amante de la música en estos eventos. En esa ocasión me encontré a dos chicas del Hive account@hiveopenmic, a Karla y Kendry, que resulta que son primas y fueron a apoyar a nuestra amiga Hive account@kimberlycmq. El concierto se llevó a cabo en la Sala Simón Bolívar del Centro Nacional de Acción Social por la Música en Caracas. El video y estas fotografías fueron capturadas con mi Tecno Pova II, y lo estoy compartiendo sin ediciones. Espero les guste el post y que les haya transmitido un poco de la alegría de ese día, aunque les debo más de lo que hicieron el resto de mis compañeros. Yo amo esta canción del Gavilán Trabalenguas. Quiero compartirles aquí abajo la versión que hice con mi papá para el Hive Open Mic, pero no se compara con el canto de Jhoxiris 🤣 ¡Tengan feliz día amigos!...
