Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by
for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
In today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, I carefully selected 3 songs that suit the moment we are having in the religious realm of this universe.
You know, Muslims all over the world are observing their Ramadan fast. As for the Christians, our Lenten season has been on and we are already in the last week of Lent. Yeah, this is the holy week. A week that will walk us into the Easter celebration.
In this edition of three tunes Tuesday, I carefully selected 3 worship songs which I genuinely want y'all to listen to and enjoy. They are as follows;
1. Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) by Hillsong UNITED
This song (or hymn if it so pleases you) is a very beautiful one. Every time I listen to this song, it almost feels like it goes straight to my heart and soul to give me calmness. The lyrics embodies a very strong message of hope and the melody is as juicy as you like.
I don't even remember the first time or place I heard this song. Maybe it was from a movie or a short clip or perhaps a fellowship. I just know that I got hooked from the onset and the rest is history.
2. King Of Kings - Hillsong Worship
"Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit three in one"
The above lyrics are taken from the chorus of this song. It points towards the Holy Trinity in on God. Yeah, that's a very heart-warming reference.
This is a pure worship song that sings praises to the King of Kings. You can listen to this all you want and it's even better when you attempt to sing along.
3. Lead Me to the Cross - Hillsong UNITED
This song and the message it carries is a very deep one especially when you bring this Holy Week into perspective. We all are carrying our cross, fasting and praying. To what end? Here is the answer;
"Rid me of myself"
That's just a few of several lines in the song that points us to the whole essence of seeking God's face while living our life as humans. We are ready and naive to the depth of our sons, but regardless of how deep it runs down, God can wash us clean.
So, take your walk to the Cross, the place of cleansing.
These 3 tunes and a lot more that suits this week's event will be on repeat in my playlist. I can't wait for Easter to finally grace us with it's presence.
Do you know any other song that are good fit for this Easter season? Feel free to recommend them in the comment section of this post.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
