Hello my dear music community. I'm Mariflautacubana, and like every week, I'm here to contribute my music to this wonderful music scene. Today I want to remember one of my favorite singers, an iconic voice, an indescribable feeling, Amy Winehouse, my superstar.
"Back to Black," one of her most famous, iconic, and beautiful songs. In it, and on the album of the same name, she not only blended jazz, soul, and classic female pop, but also paved the way for other female singers like Adele, Lorde, and Duffy. The story behind this song is, so to speak, the thread that runs through the entire album, and musically it showcased Winehouse's artistic vision.
RETURNING TO WHAT'S FAMILIAR
All the songs on the album deal with her relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil. Specifically, in "Back to Black," she drew inspiration from her breakup with Blake to tell the story. She sings about her ex's pain at going back to his previous girlfriend while she spiraled into addiction, returning to an old passion and old habits.

caused a sensation in the tabloids. But even so, we remember the great Amy Winehouse for her voice, her lyrics, her way of feeling and loving. Despite everything, she was a great woman and a talented artist. Her tragic death still weighs heavily on my soul馃挃, but at the same time, SI realize that it doesn't matter if we're not here tomorrow; what truly matters is the legacy and the lessons we leave behind.
