RIP Jimmy Buffet

I started out hours ago to write a TTT post for Hive account@ablaze and then real life got in the way. Since I already had the tunes decided upon I'm going to post the links without all the text I had intended to write. So here it is, before my Tuesday ends!

Jimmy Buffett, singer, songwriter, author, sailor and entrepreneur died Sept 1st 2023 at age 76.

It was his lyrics that most attracted me to his music and I often find myself quoting a line from his songs in everyday conversation.
I haven't been diving in many years, but this song touched my heart the first time I heard it.
Bubbles Up was what my friends and I would say to each other before we put on our diving masks

He recorded many songs that blended folk, country and Caribbean music. Margaritaville, Cheeseburger in Paradise and A Pirate Looks at 40 were some of the early hits. Changes in Latitude is a longtime favorite of mine.

This song, recorded with the Zac Brown Band has become a favorite of mine, too. I'm always going to be missing Jimmy Buffet.
