When it comes to music, I think there are times when, no matter how much you like a genre, it ends up mentally overwhelming you. Personally, I listen to many different types of rock and metal, which helps keep my mind fresh in terms of styles. However, there are times when I also get overwhelmed by the distortion of the guitars and the strong beat of the snare drum that I love so much and that keeps me connected to these genres.
Like everything in life, it's important to restore energy through a “catalyst.” In my case, I turn to bands that aren't intense rock or metal, but lean toward lighter trends, such as pop or mainstream. I try to recharge my batteries with artists like Bruno Mars, the Backstreet Boys, or NSYNC, who have quite catchy songs that somehow refresh my mind.
In addition to these artists, there are three bands in particular that I want to share with you. They have a very fresh style and are suitable for all tastes. I usually listen to them when I need to write work reports or do calculations, as they allow me to disconnect from the distortion that often distracts me when I need total focus.
MAGIC! is a Canadian band with a very accessible style that tends to appeal to a lot of people. I love listening to them while I clean my electronic devices or my computer. They have very appealing and catchy songs with reggae elements that give them a distinctive personal style and worldwide fame. If you haven't heard them, I recommend taking a few minutes to do so; I assure you that you will like them.

Los Pericos are a legendary Argentine band that has been producing wonderful music throughout Latin America since the 1990s. They have had incredible success with reggae in Spanish. On this occasion, I recommend “Pupilas lejanas,” one of their many wonderful songs that keeps them in the international spotlight despite their long career.

Caramelos de Cianuro, from my country, Venezuela. They are an alternative rock band, possibly the most important in the country, with great success throughout the region. They have very good albums that, personally, I used to listen to a lot years ago. Although I have neglected them a little lately, I recognize that their music has aged very well. It's gratifying to listen to them on any occasion, especially with my wife, as she likes them a lot and we enjoy singing their hits together.
