After a break last week, I am back again with another three tune Tuesday. So far we have been to Berlin, the home of techno and before that, we visited Glastonbury back in 2004. This week I am probably going to get crucified for my pop selection this week of Dua Lipa!
My daughter was mostly listening to Dua Lipa and I found some of her songs quite catchy and then watched her performance at Tomorrowlands where she was the first pop artist to perform there and I became a fan.
I only really started listening to her at the end of last year / beginning of this year and was impressed with her singing and live performances. Some of the videos to her songs I thought were a bit weird but other than that I think she is great. You can really see how she has improved as an artist over the last few years with her dancing, singing and general confidence and swagger. I could listen to her whole set but have selected my 3 favorites.
My first selection is "IDGAF" which she performs amazingly here:
Next up is the song "Hotter than Hell". The funny thing in this live performance is that despite her dress keep slipping, she still stays confident and delivers a great performance:
My final song and my favorite by far is the collaboration she made with Martin Garrix "Scared to be lonely" which with all the isolation, and social distancing going on made me think about how sometimes I can feel lonely and this song somehow cheered me up.

Nach einer Pause in der letzten Woche bin ich wieder zurück mit drei weiteren Tunes am Dienstag. Bislang waren wir in Berlin, der Heimat des Techno, und davor in Glastonbury im Jahr 2004. Diese Woche werde ich wahrscheinlich für meine Pop-Auswahl von Dua Lipa gekreuzigt werden!
Meine Tochter hörte vor allem Dua Lipa, und ich fand einige ihrer Lieder ziemlich eingängig. Als ich dann ihren Auftritt bei Tomorrowlands sah, wo sie als erste Popkünstlerin auftrat, wurde ich ein Fan.
Ich habe erst Anfang des Jahres angefangen, ihr zuzuhören, und war von ihrem Gesang und ihren Live-Auftritten beeindruckt. Einige der Videos zu ihren Liedern fand ich ein bisschen seltsam, aber ansonsten finde ich sie großartig. Man kann wirklich sehen, wie sie sich in den letzten Jahren als Künstlerin verbessert hat, mit ihrem Tanzen, ihrem Gesang und ihrem allgemeinen Selbstvertrauen und Auftreten. Ich könnte mir ihr ganzes Set anhören, aber ich habe meine 3 Favoriten ausgewählt.

Als nächstes kommt der Song "Hotter than Hell". Das Lustige an dieser Live-Performance ist, dass sie trotz ihres verrutschenden Kleides selbstbewusst bleibt und eine tolle Performance abliefert:
Mein letzter und bei weitem liebster Song ist die Zusammenarbeit mit Martin Garrix "Scared to be lonely", die mich bei all der Quarantäne und Abstand halten zum Nachdenken darüber gebracht hat, wie einsam ich mich manchmal fühlen kann, und dieser Song hat mich irgendwie aufgeheitert.
